Local Youth Club Grants 2011

County Kilkenny VEC is now accepting applications for funding under the following Youth Club Grant Schemes 2011.

Local Youth Club Grant Scheme - 2011

The primary focus of the grant scheme is to assist local voluntary youth clubs who offer a youth work response to young people.  However, other clubs/groups that work with young people who are not specifically youth work are also entitled to apply for funding under this scheme.

Please note:

• Groups/Clubs must be volunteer-led and based on the voluntary participation of young people.
• Priority will be given to young people between the ages of 10-21.
• 75% of the Groups/Club members must be under the age of 21.
  
• Clubs whose primary focus is sport are not eligible for funding under this scheme.
• Incompete forms will not be accepted and all forms must be accompanied with completed Income and Expenditure Report -2010.

This Scheme is part funded by the proceeds of the National Lottery and is supported by the National Development Plan.  Funding for the scheme is provided by the Youth Affairs Unit(YAAU), Department of Children and Youth Affairs(DCYA) and administered locally by County Kilkenny VEC.
