Applying for a Student Maintenance Grant

The Student Maintenance Grant Application Form for 2011/2012 is now available.  

You can make an application in the following ways:

This year for the first time all awarding bodies are connected to a new online application system.  Please refer to:  www.studentfinance.ie.

You can download forms (below).  This downloadable form must be printed down in full, completed, signed and returned by post to County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee (or relevant awarding authority) with relevant supporting documentary evidence.  

The following instructions apply:

• Download and read the accompanying guidance notes before completing the application form.
• Print down the application form and complete it in full.
• Ensure the declarations are signed.  The application form is not valid and cannot be processed without these signatures.
• Return the completed application form and the supporting documentary evidence to County Kilkenny VEC (or relevant awarding authority).
  

Student Grant Application Form 2011/2012
Final Course Acceptance Form(FA1/FA2) must be returned before your application can be assessed - PLC, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Course in Ireland
Final Course Acceptance Form (SA1) must be returned before your application can be assessed - Undergraduate Courses in EU Member States(excluding Ireland)

• Sending a stamped addressed envelope(€1.35) to:
                     Education Services Department
                     County Kilkenny VEC
                     Seville Lodge, Callan Road
                     County Kilkenny
• by calling into our offices in Seville Lodge, Callan Road
• by calling into County Kilkenny VEC Adult Guidance Service based in Lower New Street, Kilkenny.
