FETAC Level 6 - Early Childhood Care and Education
Components: Work Experience(including 30 day work placement); Team Working
FETAC Level 4: Reception; Computer Applications; Data Entry
FETAC Level 3: Digital Photography; The Internet

Adult Education Programme - Spring 2013
County Kilkenny VEC offers a range of evening classes at a network of VEC schools throughout the county. The programmes on offer combine a mixture of well established popular classes with a variety of new options to suit the different tastes of learners and vary from the academic to the practical. Details of the full range of classes for Spring 2013 is attached.
Historic Meeting of Kilkenny and Carlow VECs
The Vocational Education Committees(VECs) in Co. Kilkenny and Co. Carlow are due to merge in 2013 to form the Kilkenny Carlow Education and Training Board. New legislation to establish Education and Training Boards(ETBs) is going through the Oireachtas at the moment and is expected to be passed early in 2013. Similar mergers are happening in other VECs around the country: the 33 existing VECs will be replaced by 16 ETBs.
