On the 1st July, 2013 County Kilkenny VEC and County Carlow VEC merged to form the Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board. Our new Kilkenny and Carlow ETB website is been developed. In the meantime, the information on this website is still relevant.

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board

Notification has been received that the Minister of Education and Skills has approved the 1st July as the establishment day for the new Education and Training Boards.

The Vocational Education Committees(VECs) in Co. Kilkenny and Co. Carlow will merge to form the Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board.  Similar mergers are happening in other VECs around the country and the 33 existing VECs will be replaced by 16 ETBs.
